Evolution System
These central air conditioning systems have the highest SEER rating out of all the residential Bryant central air conditioners. They have SEER ratings as high as 20. There are a total of 3 different models within the Evolution System series. These models feature compressor blankets, 8-pole fan motors, quieter operation, Puron refrigerant, and are made of either heavy gauge steel or galvanized steel. They also all have high and low pressure switches. All 3 models are Energy Star qualified. 2 of the models have stage two compressors while the other is a scroll compressor.
Legacy Line
This line of central air conditioners also has 3 different models to choose from. This particular line also features quieter operation and environmentally friendly Puron refrigerant. The SEER ratings in this series only go up to 16, however all but 1 of them are Energy Star qualified. All but one of the models has stage two compressors.
Preferred Series
Once again these models are alike with quiet operation and Puron refrigerant. 2 out of 3 of these Bryant models are Energy Star rated with SEERs up to 16.5. The 127A model has a stage two compressor while the other 2 models have scroll compressors. All 3 models have 8-pole fan motors and high and low switches. All the models in the Preferred Series are made of galvanized steel much like most other central air conditioners that Bryant makes.
Preferred Compact
This is the only model in this particular series. It is a side-discharge horizontal air conditioner and is designed to be more compact for easier fit atop roofs, decks, and multifamily homes. With a SEER of 15, this system is Energy Star rated. It is as quiet as 66dB. This system also features a flow-through design. It has a scroll compressor, uses Puron refrigerant, and high and low switches. This model is also made of galvanized steel.
Though they have many of the same features, these 4 different types of Bryant central air conditioners all suit different needs when searching for central air for your residence.
