This model has the cooling capacity of 8000 BTU and a 10.8 EER. It is Energy Star qualified which will save you at least 10% more energy usage. The features of this unit include remote control, a sleep mode, 3 fan speeds, 3 cooling speeds, dehumidifier function, and a timer.
Samsung AW1093L
This 10800 BTU model can be inserted thru the wall or a window. It has a 10.8 EER and is Energy Star rated also. This window unit can cool a room up to 500sq ft. This unit has 3 fan and cooling speeds. This particular unit is lacking many of the features the other units have.
Samsung AW0501M
With 5200 BTU this is one of the smaller of the Samsung window air conditioner models. It has the capability of cooling a smaller room up to 150sq ft. This unit also has 3 cooling and fan speeds and a timer. Unfortunately this particular model is not Energy Star rated with an EER of only 9.8 nor does it come with remote control operation or dehumidifier functionality.
Samsung AS1293l
At 12600 BTU this air conditioner can cool a larger space. It has an EER of 10.8 like the AW08ECB8 and AW1093L, making it also Energy Star compliant. This unit comes with a reusable filter, sleep mode, remote control operation, and 3 fan and cooling speeds. This unit does not act as a dehumidifier.
Samsung AW18931
This 17800 BTU model has an EER of 10.7, which still makes it Energy Star compliant. It can cool a room as large as 1000sq ft. This unit does come with a remote control, programmable timer, reusable filter, and 3 fan and cooling speeds. However, it does not have a dehumidifier function.
